  • Hping seems out based on the restricted sudo that we have on planet-lab
  • tcptraceroute, installed via yum, works fine and produces reliable output, but only for tcp traceroutes

 

My current plan is to implement web interface with an eye to 1) creating and displaying tcptraceroute output and 2) eventually extending the reporting to include other kinds of output for eventual implementation of DNS traces etc.
